Secondary phase
All openings for practice teaching of the school year (= calendar year) are filled. Applications for the secondary phase should please not be made earlier than 12 months before the planned practice teaching at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Kapstadt: info@dsk.co.za
Primary school
Openings in the primary school are available. Please direct your queries to: grundschule@dsk.co.za
Remedial teaching
Openings in the area of support (in the first rank of the primary school) are immediately available. Please direct your queries to: grundschule@dsk.co.za
Important
In your application, please inform us of the exact time period during which you wish to complete your practical, your subjects, qualifications, semester and your possible (special) contribution to school life.
The tasks mainly consist of practice teaching and attending teaching lessons. Primary school time is from 8h00 - 12h40 and in the high school from 8h00 - 14h25. Sometimes substitution lessons need to be taken under supervision.

Accommodation, catering and flights are not covered. It concerns unpaid teaching practice only.
Only applicants in their main study period who can at least complete a 10-week practical, will be considered. Please be advised that, owing to the large number of applications, you will only receive an e-mail in the case of availability of a traineeship; rejections will not be notified/sent.
